PsyHeader: PsyScope Data Cleanup Utility
psyheader is a PsyScope data cleanup program that splits your set of data into two files: headers and data.
psyheader is located on our file server at lab/experiments/utilities/psyheader. |
 |
Using psyheader is easy!
Open up your folder of PsyScope data files. Select the data files that you want to process (usually this is all of them).
Drag them on top of the psyheader icon. |
 |
You will need to provide some names:
1. The file for your headers.
2. The file for your data.
"Done." means your files were created successfully.
|
 |
After finished using psyheader, be sure to quit MacPerl which opens automatically when you run a MacPerl script.
BUGS:
1. Currently, the headers and data files are saved in the psyheader program folder. You will need to move them to your own folder and delete them from the psyheader folder if they remain after being copied.
2. Be careful to select names of files that do not already exist. In most cases, you will receive an error which will allow you to select a different name to use for a file. Other cases will be less polite. |
