Video mirroring for ATI Radeon Mobility

Shut down the computer before connecting the external monitor or projector.

Start up the computer.

If the laptop display and external display do not match, open the Display control panel. (Or right-click the desktop and select Properties.)

Click the Settings tab.

Click on monitor 2 (or select it from the Display list).

Uncheck the box labeled Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor.

If you will be using CRL's projection system, you must set the screen resolution to 1024x768 for best results.

Click on monitor 1 (or select it from the Display list).

If you will be using CRL's projection system, the screen resolution must also be set to 1024x768 since both displays must match for video mirroring.

Click the Advanced button.

Reset the Scheme to Default Single Display.

Click the red button next to Panel. Both Monitor and Panel will turn green.

Click Apply.

You should now see the same image on both displays.

If you do not have ATI Radeon Mobility on your laptop, consult the Laptop Computer Video Port Activation Chart for switching to video mirroring for your laptop.
