CRL Talks

Hi CRLers!

We will be having another Social/Organizational Meeting next Friday, April 26 at 11:00 a.m. in CSB 280 (with snacks!).

We are also currently converting our email list to a google group, so if you would like to add anyone or know anyone that stopped getting these emails, please have them ask to join here: https://groups.google.com/a/ucsd.edu/g/crl-g

We are still looking for speakers for our upcoming week 8 (see below) so if you’d like to volunteer (or recommend someone I can reach out to), please let me know! Full talks are typically 45 min long with the remaining 10-15 min for questions. We have talks in every format from pre-conference or job talk polished practice talks to still-working-through-this-data-analysis new findings talks, so we’d love to hear from you at any stage!

We will also be having another Grad Data Blast (likely on Friday, June 7 (Week 10)). If you are interested (or know a grad student who is interested) in doing a shorter presentation of ~5 min, let me know so I can add your name to my list!

Thanks!
Emily
