CRL Talks

Spring Quarter 2024

CRL Talks are Friday at 11:00 a.m. (PST, GMT -08:00) in CSB 280 or via Zoom.

Hi CRLers!

Hope you all had a great Spring Break and are getting into the swing of Spring Quarter! This email serves to announce that we will not be meeting today, but will be having another Social/Organizational Meeting this Friday, April 26 at 11:00 a.m. in CSB 280 (with snacks!). 

We are also currently converting our email list to a google group, so if you would like to add anyone, please have them email me right now instead of signing up on the website. 

We are looking for speakers for our upcoming weeks (see below) so if you’d like to volunteer (or recommend someone I can reach out to), please let me know!  Full talks are typically 45 min long with the remaining 10-15 min for questions. We have talks in every format from pre-conference or job talk polished practice talks to still-working-through-this-data-analysis new findings talks, so we’d love to hear from you at any stage!

We will also be having another Grad Data Blast (likely on Friday, June 7 (Week 10)). If you are interested in doing a shorter presentation of ~5 min, let me know so I can add your name to my list!

CRL Talks are back in person and on Zoom

We look forward to seeing you at Friday at 11 a.m. in CSB 280 or via Zoom. The Zoom link for each talk will be provided in the CRL Talks announcement email. If you are not subscribed to CRL Talks announcements, just sign up using our subscription form. All we require is your email address.

If you still do not want to subscribe to the CRL Talks mailing list, that's okay. Contact the CRL Talks organizer for the details.

The CRL Talks is now using Google Groups for posting and distributing announcements. If you were on the old Mailman list, you were automatically moved to the new Google Group.
